Summary


John Charles (Leeds, Juventus, Roma, Cardiff & Wales): The first big British export when he moved to Juventus in 1957, the Gentle Giant scored 93 goals in 155 games and helped the club to win three Serie A titles. Charles was one of the great players of his generation, marrying skill with awesome physique, and was equally adept playing centre-forward or centre-back.

Bobby Charlton (Manchester United & England): Still England's leading international goalscorer of all time with 49, Charlton was part of Sir Alf Ramsey's World Cup winning side in 1996 and got his hands on the European Cup two years later as Manchester United defeated Benfica in the final.
