IN a reduced programme of rugby in North Wales, Mold and Newtown made progress in Swalec competitions while Pwllheli carried on in the Scottish Power North Wales Cup.
In the first round of the Swalec Plate, Mold came from behind at Llangefni to win by 13-3 after full-back Arwel Roberts had kicked an early penalty for the home side, the visitors' tries coming from second row Ian Clewarth and wing Ritchie Hopkins and a penalty from outside-half Dan Edmunds.See the full content of this document
