HAVING a sister living in Australia has its benefits, and regular visits are fantastic sun-drenched fun, but on the negative side we are a family of talkers and the distance makes it frustrating - especially when your sisters are your best friends.

There is a constant effort to work out time zones so that we can chat on the phone as often as possible, but the reality is that one of us is usually settling in front of our desks for the day, whilst the other is half asleep. Throw in some wine on one end of the phone call and there's a good chance that it's less conversation, more jibberjabber, THROW SOME ON ONE OF THE CALL THERE'S GOOD THAT MORE and jibberjabber costs money, so the practical, cost effective way of communicating ,,,, JIBBER-COSTS is by e-mail.
