There's been hysteria surrounding the Amnesty study suggesting a third of those polled felt that women who drank too much, dressed provocatively and flirted, who were raped 'were asking for it'.

I don't think the message from the survey is the one suggested. I think people were responding to the fact that rapists are a very real threat to women.
