Summary
Maybe I'm shallow. But it often appears that the problem with press trips is that you are shown what you ought to enjoy, not what you actually will.
A recent trip to Oxford was a case in point. Our tour centred on a visit to a library (the Bodleian), stuffed with the largest collection of books that nobody could possibly want to read, and a museum (The Ashmolean), bursting with salt cellars.
