Tributes to 'Epitome of a Warrior'

AN ARMY bomb disposal expert who died following an explosion in Afghanistan was last night hailed as the "epitome of a warrior" by his commanding officer.

Sapper David Watson, from 33 Engineer Regiment (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), Royal Engineers, died from wounds suffered in the blast near Patrol Base Blenheim, near Sangin, in Helmand province, on New Year's Eve.
